Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between JPG and PNG output?

JPG uses lossy compression for smaller file sizes — ideal for photos and documents with gradients. PNG is lossless and preserves exact pixel data — better for text-heavy documents where sharpness matters.

What does the quality/scale setting do?

It controls rendering resolution. Higher scale means more pixels per page: Standard (72 dpi) gives smaller files; Very High (216 dpi) gives crisp, print-quality images.

Can I convert just one page?

Currently the tool converts all pages. To convert a single page, use Extract Pages first to create a single-page PDF, then convert that.

Is this tool free?
